<Coordination between Koka Senior High School and Kansai University>
An agreement has been concluded between the Koka Senior High School and Kansai University to“use a recommendation system coordinated between the senior high school and the university as the entrance requirement”. The preparatory course for entering Kansai University has further been enhanced at Koka Junior and Senior High Schools and has been developed as a new program.

| 1 | The study of the five subjects for junior high school is completed in the middle of the third grade (Basic stage). |

The 2nd year classes in the high school are divided into Primula Kansai University and Lilac Courses.
Primula Kansai University Course
In this course, Japanese, social studies, mathematics, science and English classes are increased and 7 classes a day are provided. Students in the Primula courses prepare for the entrance exams of topnotch universities such as Kansai University.
Lilac Course
This course provides careful instruction to each individual student according to her learning level, and helps the students acquire basic scholastic abilities needed to enter Kyoto Koka Women’s University and other universities in future.

The curriculum supports students who aim to become pediatric nurses, kindergarten
teachers, certified social workers, and teachers after graduating from junior
college and university.

The curriculum is for students who aim to pass various tests and acquire qualifications to work as an independent professional in the future.

Classes in tea ceremony, flower arrangement, classical Japanese poetry, traditional etiquette, traditional Japanese music, and calligraphy are offered in the regular curriculum, where students receive guidance and supervision from top instructors in various fields. Our course aims to foster true internationally minded persons who can disseminate Japanese culture cultivated over a long history to the world. Students are carefully taught courtesy and manners such as "greetings," "appearance," "correct speech" and "punctuality.
